Historic and Post Historic 1798cc (1800cc cast on l/h side of block)

Ignition.

Points and condenser.

Luminition Optronic electronic ignition is permitted on Category 2 vehicles only.

Carburation.

Single Weber or Delorto. 40 or 45 DCOE. Twin 1.5 or 1.75, S U (Not later H I F type)

Gearbox.

Four syncromesh,  plus overdrive.
Straight Cut Gears kits are permitted

Rear Axle.

Standard axle with optional LSD.
Panhard rods are not permitted.

Brakes.

Front. Solid brake disc. Rear: Standard drum.

Single or Tandem master cylinder. Adjustable brake pedal box is permitted
provided it cannot be adjusted by driver or navigator when normally seated.

Suspension.

Front. Lever arm.
Rear. Lever arm.
Telescopic shock absorber conversions are not permitted

Wheels and Tyres.

Wheel rim, tyre size and profile as per MSUK NCR’s. .

General.

Fibre glass bonnet or boot lid. Composite side windows.

Alloy centrally mounted replacement petrol tank.
